Personal Attention to Each Child

You will see one provider every time, that maintains continuity of care and ensures ongoing support, and build a personal relationship. We schedule longer appointment slots to allow ample time for comprehensive assessment, addressing concerns and questions. Sick visits are scheduled on the same day or within 24 hours. Well, visit within 3 days. This clinical environment promotes comprehensive care and fosters positive health outcomes for children.

ABOUT US

Javed Hussain, MD

A pediatrician with 30 years of extensive experience, who incorporates evidence-based science into his practice, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to provide high-quality care.

He started his medical career as a general surgeon in Pakistan and later completed a three-year residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Afterward, he joined the United States Air Force.

He completed a three-year fellowship in Environmental Medicine from Boston Children’s Hospital and currently serves as an attending physician in the Environmental Health Center at Children’s Hospital. He has also been teaching and examining students at Harvard Medical School and has served as a consultant for the World Health Organization, specifically for Kosovo refugees. Since 2009, he has been precepting Physician Assistant students from Tufts Medical School at his practice.

Physical Activity

Children and asolescents should aim for at least one hour of physical activity per day.

  • The type of carbohydrate in the diet is more important than the amount of carbohydrate in the diet, because some sources of carbohydrate—like vegetables (other than potatoes), fruits, whole grains, and beans—are much healthier than sugar,  potatoes, and foods made from white flour.
